The Baldridge's were invited to The White House. The Baldridge Program was taught at The White House for the President's Staff refining the collection and filtering of all White House Mail and all Global Intelligence, revising the President's Daily Brief. The PDB is a top-secret document produced and given each morning to POTUS, The President of the United States.

International locations where the Baldridge Program has been offered include: Brussels, Munich, Vienna, Las Palm and Tokyo. One of the most unusual Baldridge Programs was taught aboard the S.S. Universe between mainland China and Sri Lanka, as part of a Semester at Sea voyage around the world.

School: Waldorf, Date: 7/18/99 1. Starting 190 wpm. After warm up went up to 230 wpm. I raced my self and got up to 390 wpm I feel comfortable at 230 wpm :) 6. I have learned alot about reading and he did a great job of teaching!

School: Loomis Chaffee, Date: 6/15/97 1. It went from 104-195, but my comprehension went up as well. Now I feel comfortable allowing my eyes to go because I can take in the info. at the same time. 6. Cliff is totally positive and makes what some people look at as torture, actually interesting'n. The teacher was extremely effective and very encouraging. He taught the techniques very well and without the program I feel like I am reading much faster and I will continue to try and improve my reading rate (with the having good comprehension) using the techniques that I was taught. The teacher and program definitely benefited me.

But my range can now go up to the 500s when I'm just browsing and figuring out the main concepts in a chapter. 6. Very enthusiastic teacher. Believes strongly in what he teaches. School: Greenwich High → Georgetown, Date: July 14, 1997 1. All of my rates have drastically improved and vary depending on the type of book I am reading. My range has become more narrow. The differences in speed among X, F and C & A reading styles have decreased. 6. I think I have learned a lot about how to read faster while still comprehending the content. I also liked the black out technique and other odd methods for improving studying. They did not take too much time or extra effort yet still seem to be effective.
School: Conrad High School (Hartford) to Colgate U, Date: August 10,1997 1. When I first took the timing for very good comprehension I was at about 204 words per minute. After "warming up, and going through the program I was able to get it up to around 330 words per minute. 6. This was a very beneficial program for me to enroll in before I head off to college. Knowing the little hints will give me a little edge over the other students. With all the positive encouragement I got I'm sure that I will believe in these approaches and be able to use them to the best of my ability to be successful at Colgate.

At the beginning of the program I had one slow style of reading, but after the program I not only learned how to survey and explore scan, read at a fair level, but I increased my base rate by 100 wpm. 6. School: Greenwich High, Date: 11/14/97 1. Overall, my rate and range had increased substantially (up a minimum of 50-100 words a minute). 6. Mr. Baldridge's manner and style of teaching were very good. He was extremely consistent in coaching and pushing me to go to my limits during the reading and reading sessions. In addition, he taught in a manner that demonstrated he had a superior and strong background of the concepts he taught in the speed reading course. Overall, a very good beneficial program!
